Our Team Members
Eastern Hospitality Management, Inc.'s senior executives average over 26 years of hospitality experience. In addition we have
3 regional managers that oversee day-to-day operations at the property level. Our focus on quality has allowed us to achieve strong quality assurance and guest service rankings within each brand, and drive profitability for our shareholders. We are totally committed to providing the type of product and hospitality our guests expect and deserve. We pride ourselves on being able to find and keep excellent managers.
Our Services
Each year an annual plan is developed for each property which includes a realistic operating budget, a capital improvement plan and a sales and marketing plan. Our operations strategy is to increase room revenue and maximize rates through yield management as market conditions change. We analyze property expenses and identify opportunities for improvement. These include labor as well as product and energy expenses. A preventive maintenance program is implemented at each property to ensure the maximum value of the owner's assets.
Our managers utilize an extensive Standard Operating Procedures manual to ensure consistency and we are well versed in Federal Regulations that affect hotels such as OSHA, ADA and FMLA. We have a centralized accounting department that provides accurate and timely financial information. The accounting department closely monitors daily reports, supervises payroll processing, and prepares monthly accounting reports, which include income and cash flow statements.
Quarterly audits are conducted by regional managers to ensure operating efficiency and administrative accuracy. In addition to a thorough inspection of the hotel property, the audit consists of a complete examination of the hotel's cash handling and reporting procedures, the accuracy of daily reports, an analysis of accounts payable and receivable, a review of employment records, and a detailed review of all front office and administrative procedures. We also review safety and security procedures.
As mentioned earlier, our greatest assets are the people we work with at each property. We empower our employees to do whatever it takes to please guests and ensure repeat business. We make sure that all of our "moments of truth" are positive. In an era where services seem to be diminishing, many of our properties are recognized for the outstanding hospitality that they provide to our guests.
Over the years, EHMI has served shareholders well in the management of hotel assets. Throughout all levels of the EHMI organization, it is our philosophy and commitment to provide each hotel with the attention and individual service required to reach their objectives, to deliver profits and create value.
